Paul Scott, P.E., S.E. was presented with the 2023 President’s Award during The Masonry Society’s Annual Meeting on November 9, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
TMS President W. Mark McGinley recognized Scott’s exceptional voluntary service, most recently as Chair of the Technical Activities Committee where he is now serving his second term, after 2 previous terms as a member of TAC. McGinley noted that Scott has served on many Committees including TMS 402/602, BIMM, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors in the past to lend his practical knowledge and expertise. Scott received a 2017 Service Award, and also received the 2023 Haller Award.
Scott, who is now “partially retired”, but who is still working for select clients, formerly was a Partner of Caruso Turley Scott, Inc., the largest structural engineering firm in Arizona.
The President’s Award recipient is chosen by the current President to recognize an individual who has made an exceptional contributions to the success of the Society.
