Ben Loescher was recognized for assisting with the 2023 Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In addition to his help with behind-the-scenes preparations, he organized an excellent adobe masonry tour for meeting attendees and provided an interesting presentation at the meeting’s general sessions.

Jason Thompson received a service award for his help completing and submitting the revised TMS Technical Committee Operations Manual to ANSI. He also assisted TMS in applying for several major grants.

A group service award was presented to the executive director search committee to acknowledge their efforts in hiring the Society’s new Executive Director, Ann Guiberson. The process required considerable time commitment between summer 2023 and spring 2024. The committee reviewed more than 120 applications and conducted two rounds of interviews.
