During the Masonry Society’s 2023 Annual Meeting on November 9 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dawn Rogers, Chair of the Society’s Administrative Committee Team presented 2 Service Awards on behalf of the Awards Committee as follows.
Ronald J. Hunsicker, was presented his second service Award (the first in 2018 as pictured) at the 2023 Annual Meeting. The 2023 Award being given for his significant contributions reviewing all chapters of TMS 402/602-16 on the Society’s new Masonry Standards Online (MSO) platform despite not being assigned as a primary reviewer, During the review he identified many issues that others missed. His careful reviews contributed to the successful completion of the project
Michael P. Schuller was awarded a 2023 Service Award for his consistent help to TMS staff, and for offering special assistance with 2022 Annual Meeting in Denver including:
- Offering transportation to and from various venues during the meeting
- Helping transport supplies for the meeting
- Assisting staff before, during, and after meetings
The Masonry Society started the Service Award in 2006 to recognize individuals who volunteer in special, and typically unseen, ways. The intent of the award is to recognize those who continually assist the Society, but who are not normally recognized for their efforts.
