Mission & Scope

Disseminate knowledge on masonry evaluation, repair, rehabilitation, and restoration through TMS publications. Gather information, correlate results of field and laboratory research, and describe collective experience in analysis, design, construction, and manufacture related to masonry evaluation, strengthening and repair.

Goals

  1. Develop the second edition of the Guide for Condition Assessment of Masonry Facades, a document describing a general process approach for evaluation of existing masonry facades.
  2. Develop a seminar based on the Guide for Condition Assessment of Masonry Facades, to expand on the ideas presented in the general process approach.
  3. Develop the Guide for Maintenance of Masonry Facades, a document describing a general process approach for maintenance of existing masonry facades.Develop the Guide for Masonry
  4. Stabilization Using Retrofit Anchors, a document describing a general process approach for stabilization of existing masonry facades.
