Promote membership in The Masonry Society through the recruitment of new members and by encouraging current members to actively support the goals of the Society. Provide up-to-date information on TMS to the public via the industry media. Develop, review and approve marketing and promotional items generated by the staff or committees.
Solicit the membership of all persons concerned with the utilization of masonry. Obtain maximum publicity about TMS activities in industry publications and the media at large. Maximize attendance at TMS meetings, seminars & workshops, promote membership in the society and the society itself.
Administer an annual membership recruitment competition. Develop and distribute a TMS Membership Brochure to practicing professionals, educators and researchers. Work with masonry promotion organizations around the country to direct-mail membership brochures and to distribute information during technical presentations and seminars. Distribution of periodic news releases to the national construction industry magazines, national proprietary masonry associations, local masonry trade associations, promotion/information groups, and others as appropriate. Review, edit and advise staff on the marketing and promotion of TMS functions.
